Lorraine Kaiser: Your next favorite actress

Over the last year and a half, my journey has introduced me to a wide range of talented professionals in the entertainment industry. While my experience is still limited, I’ve seen the hustle and bustle that’s required to bring a project to completion, from UGC commercials to feature films. The common theme is dedication. Everyone on set is working their hardest to complete the project and “wrap” on schedule.

Vibes on set are crucial to this collaboration. Johnny Knoxville, of WWE and Jackass fame, once had to fire a long-time friend from Jackass Forever because he brought bad vibes to set. As you can imagine, a film like that requires a lot of trust and positivity to make stunts safe and funny. A small kerfuffle among cast can result in a bad outcome. The same goes for pretty much any other project. A bad attitude can spread and lead to resentment among cast and crew ultimately ruining the production’s chemistry.

So, bringing it back to the title, I was working a weapons demonstration project last weekend and was asked by an audience member, “Have you killed anyone [on film]?” and the Director answered for me, “…with kindness.”
